Well, i think it's time. Yup. I'm officially going to make the transition from tube to High Def. I've been a user of the tube television for years just as many us. I think the difference with me is that, it has taken me a long time to realize just how great high definition actually looks. I thought it was one of those things that people get hyped about, you know...just to be the first to have this and that so they can brag. Like an Ipod Touch or something. Boy, was i wrong. I wish i never bought my tube 5 years ago.
I walked into an electronics store one day shopping for something (i don't even remember what it was), and BAM!...on display is big ass flat screen with a blu-ray presentation. I was amazed at the quality i was looking at. I've never been a really big fan of DVD quality movies. But THIS was something else. I felt EXACTLY like Doug Heffernan from King Of Queens when he first got introduced to High Def. My reaction was the same.
Probably the main reason i would like to get an HDTV is because i have an XBOX 360. I would just like to see how the quality of the games would look playing on a 50 incher or something. I'm always hearing about it, but soon i will get a chance to see it as well.
